Lightroom 6 Released

So Lightroom 6 has been released to much initial acclaim. I watched the Kelby webinar on the release and read some of the initial articles on it for the updates and new features. I thought the release would have more substantial tool upgrades for editing. The HDR and Panorama features are nice to have but something I would rarely use. The GPU acceleration is a good thing and which Kelby promotes as THE feature of the release but I have a speedy system now so the differences for my workflow may not be substantial. Some of the tweaks noted like using a brush to remove part of a gradient filter are appreciated. Question for me is whether there is enough enhancements and tweaks on the tools to warrant the upgrade from my standalone version of Lightroom. I use little of the other modules outside of Library and Develop. What is ominous for me is the statement that the standalone version will not receive any enhancements or updated features. Whether that includes bug fixes I have not determined yet. So for the moment, I will wait a bit and wait for more details on the release especially as it pertains to the standalone release.
