A look back on some of the favorite things we have experienced in 2008.
Last night, I took the family around Winston-Salem to view the variety of light displays people have put up for their homes. While the Christmas light displays ranged from the conservative to the outlandish, two homes we saw out did them all.
So the old Winston-Salem Warthogs are now the Dash. Hard to say it is much of an improvement over the Warthogs but perhaps with time, it may take on a better feel.
Nice light rain falling now outside as we receive some of outer rain bands thrown off by tropical storm Hanna. Hanna is starting to pound the coast near Wilmington where we were last year for a long weekend break as past of its long travel along the Atlantic coast for the weekend.
