Remembering our Fallen

Today is November 11th, a day that will live on in our memories as a people, as a nation, as a planet for those who have fallen in wartime to protect those from tyranny, so that all people can enjoy freedoms.
Last night, on NBC Nightly News, a piece was run on the Highway of Heroes, a highway in Canada where the war dead from Canada’s engagement in Afghanistan are drove down for 100km to a receiving area from the airport where their bodies are flown to from the war zone. Along this highway, ordinary people line bridges and overpasses to salute men and women they do not know but know of the sacrifice they made for us.
Let us remember them on this Remembrance Day.
